If you’ve just started playing Diablo Immortal, you might be wondering how you save your game. After all, you don’t want to lose any progress.
A free-to-play title designed primarily for mobile devices, Diablo Immortal will feel familiar to anyone that has spent time with Diablo III. That’s no bad thing, especially for those wanting some Diablo action while on the go. It’s packed with hellish enemies, characters and skills that we’ve come to know and love, and a whole lot more. But before you get stuck in, knowing one thing is more important than anything else: how to save.
You won’t want to lose any progress while playing Diablo Immortal, so knowing how to save your game is key. Thankfully, it’s easy: an autosave function ensures your progress is regularly saved.
The bad news is there’s no way to manually save in Diablo Immortal, so you’ll have to be slightly careful before quitting the game. On the left-hand side of your screen, you’ll see a “game saved” notification pop up. It’s very regular, and seems to save when you enter a new area, defeat a set of enemies, or pick up a new item.
That means you’re largely safe to quit the game freely, and you’re never going to lose too much progress. We’d recommend using the ‘leave game’ option from within the menu rather than simply closing the app, however. Click the menu button in game, then click the cog. From there, you’ll see ‘Leave Game’ at the bottom of your screen.
