Diablo 4 is now less than a month away, and the latest major update for Diablo Immortal should keep you occupied for the rest of May.
The May update for Diablo Immortal goes live in the early hours of May 10th no matter where in the world you are. The main new feature to be added is the Helliquary Gauntlet, essentially a boss rush mode that allows you to take on a sequence of bosses, gaining valuable rewards in the process. Those who perform particularly well may also find themselves at the top of the leaderboards, with those in the top ten gaining access to an exclusive frame. Being there when the season ends will allow them to keep it, too.
Of course, that’s not all that the next major content update adds to Diablo Immortal. Fractured Planes is a new limited-time event that will take place between 10th-24th May, challenging players to complete a 15-floor gauntlet. Stripped of their gear, gems and skills, players will begin with set selection of skills based on their class. They’ll be able to find unstable gear of the legendary variety in the gauntlet though, designed to bolster the range of skills they’ve been given. Special coins can be earned and exchanged for gear, too. Make it to the end of the gauntlet dying less than five times and you’ll be able to leave with one of the legendary items you’ve found, the rest disappearing into the ether.
Other additions in the Diablo Immortal May update include yet another limited-time event, the Scorched Sea, as well as a myriad of class balance changes, new Shady Stock, and tweaks to features such as Accursed Towers. You can find a full list of additions and changes, as well as details of the Season 13 Battle Pass, over on the Blizzard website.
